New information has come to light about the arrest of D4vd on suspicion of murdering a teenage girl.

An insider came over TMZ that the los angeles district attorney will file criminal charges against the Here with me crooner on Monday.

According to the source, Monday is the deadline to charge the 21-year-old crooner with a crime or release him from police custody.

For those unfamiliar, D4vd was taken into custody by the LAPD on Thursday, April 16, on suspicion of the murder of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernández.

The singer was arrested seven months after police found Celeste’s decomposing body in his Tesla.

“The Homicide Unit has arrested David Burke, a 21-year-old Los Angeles resident, for the murder of Celeste Rivas. Burke is being held without bail,” LAPD shared in a statement Thursday.

Regarding the case, D4vd’s lawyers told the newspaper: “Let’s be clear: the factual evidence in this case will show that David Burke did not kill Celeste Rivas Hernandez and that he was not the cause of her death.”

“No grand jury indictments have been filed in this case and no criminal complaint has been filed. David has been held under suspicion only. We will vigorously defend David’s innocence,” the attorneys added.
