Jason McDonald recently revealed why one of his scenes with Kristin Davis is in it Sex and the city was never excluded from the series.
On the March 26 episode of her podcast Are you a Charlotte? McDonald, McDonald walked down memory lane with his former opponent Davis.
The actor revealed that he was cast as Emerson for the thirteenth episode, Games People Play, in the second season, but it took him months to find out that “they had cut the ‘whole storyline’ which was about an Upper East Side bridge party.”
McDonald’s character and Charlotte York, played by Davis, would appear as partners in a flirty setup.
“You and I looked at each other across the room, and then we became partners, and then someone accused us of cheating, and then we turned the corner, and you sat me against the bookshelf and kissed me,” he said.
After listening to his explanation, Davis burst out laughing because the entire scene sounded too “bold” for her character, noting that she “doesn’t have a clear memory.”
It is relevant to mention that Sex and the citya romantic comedy-drama television series, features a cast including Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Chris Noth, Cynthia Nixon and others.
