Stanley Tucci shares his thoughts on fans mistaking him for fellow bald actor Mark Strong.
During the day The devil wears Prada 2 And Tucci in Italy panel in New York City, Stanley was asked which fellow actor people confuse him with.
Without hesitation, Tucci replied, “Mark Strong, always.”
He said: “We get compliments on each other’s performances. It’s really great.”
Tucci then went on to gush about Strong’s acting skills, calling him “such a nice person” and “such a great actor.”
How does he feel about being confused with Strong? Tucci shared, “I’m very flattered. … I just say, ‘Thank you very much.’ “
The panel’s moderator then joked, “Not all attractive bald men look alike, folks.”
Tucci replied, “Apparently yes.”
Strong also shared similar experiences to Tucci and expressed his thoughts in an interview with BBC’s The One Show in 2025. “We actually met, and I had to confess to him that someone once asked me to sign a poster because they thought I was him, and they wouldn’t take no for an answer. So I just signed it as him.”
“And when we met, he told me he did the same thing. So I don’t know why we’re mistaken for each other,” Strong recalled.
