Word has it that Alec Baldwin is done with Hollywood.
After the Rust tragedy, insiders revealed that the actor and film producer has dedicated himself to raising his children and is giving his wife Hilaria the space to do her own thing.
An insider told a US media outlet: “Alec has been vacant for years.”
“And now he happily takes on the lion’s share of childcare, giving Hilaria the time and space to do her own thing, especially since she has plenty of work projects and other passions that take up so much of her time,” she added.
For those who don’t know, Alec Baldwin was charged with involuntary manslaughter in an accidental shooting on the set of Rust cinematographer Halyna Hutchins in 2021. However, the judge ultimately dismissed the case.
Now, the source claimed, “he is still very affected by the tragedy. It is a dark cloud that hangs over his head and continues to weigh terribly heavily on him.”
They further noted: “He still has a short fuse and isn’t eating very healthily at all, despite everyone telling him to watch his blood pressure.”
Previously Alec spoke about the tragedy, saying: “I can tell you: [the Rust tragedy] I have broken every nerve in my body, mentally, financially, professionally, in my career, in my wife, in my children, in my friends, in my health.”
“It took at least ten years of my life,” he added.
