Abrar Ahmed from Pakistan jumped 12 places in the latest ICC T20i player ranking, after his great performance in the current ACC Men’s T20 Asia Cup 2025.
The right arm spinner is in fourth place in the bowling diagrams with 703 points and comes closer to a top three finish.
In the battle diagrams, Sahibzada Farhan rose 31 places to the 24th position with 589 points. His climb follows a crucial knock of 58 points in the recent Super Four collision of Pakistan against India.
Skipper Salman Ali Agha and opener Fakhar Zaman also improved and each raised three places to 64th and 66th.
In the meantime, senior duo Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan were sliding the charts, last in a T20i for Pakistan in 2024. Babar left nine places to 35th place, while Rizwan fell five places to 38th.
Wrestling opener Saim Ayub moved eight places to the 55th, Central Order Slagman Hasan Nawaz dropped 11 places on the 58th, and Wicketkeeper-Batter Mohammad Haris slid in one place to 90th.
Abhishek Sharma from India retained his position as the number 1 T20i seizure, followed by the English Phil Salt in second place, while Tilak Varma Jos Buttler jumped to claim third.
He is now in fourth place with 703 points and comes closer to a top three finish.
Pacers Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf also rose in the rankings and climbed to 25 and 28 respectively after strong performance in recent competitions.
However, not all bowlers did well. Spinner Sufiyan Muqema dropped three places to the 14th, Mohammad Nawaz dropped 13 places to the 46th, and Pacer Abbas Afridi fell three places to 44th.
The Varun Chakaravarthy of India remains the top-ranged T20i-Bowler, followed by Jacob Duffy van New Zealand in Second and the Akeal Hosein of the West India in third place.
In the ranking of the all -rounders, Saim Ayub held his fifth position with 201 points, while Mohammad Nawaz rose in one place to the 17th.
Shadab Khan dropped five places to the 35th, while Faheem Ashraf increased 12 places to 39th. Shaheen Afridi and Agha Salman both climbed 14 and 11 places respectively, now bound on 71st.
India’s Hardik Pandya continues to lead the hit list of the all -rounders, with Mohammad Nabi of Afghanistan and the third Sikandar Raza of Zimbabwe.
