Jennifer Lopez recently reminisced about Brett Goldstein’s bold attitude regarding her casting in their upcoming film Office romance.
Lopez appeared on an episode of Sirius XM’s BPMreleased on April 18, where she discussed her film Office Romance, especially her casting for the role of Jackie Cruz.
She said Goldstein, who also plays Daniel Blanchflower in the film, co-wrote Cruz’s character, kept her in mind and was willing to cancel the project if she didn’t agree.
“They sent me the script and said, ‘We wrote this for you. If you don’t do it, we won’t even make the movie,'” said the 56-year-old American singer and songwriter, referring to another writer, Joe Kelly.
“But it was really funny and me and my partner – Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, my producing partner – really loved it,” Lopez admitted.
The Kiss from the Spider Woman star, who is “glad” he made the film, is “very excited for people to see it.”
