Ali Larter has revealed Husbandman creator Taylor Sheridan’s hilarious way of communicating while writing the script.
On Thursday, April 16, Larter became part of Landmans screening at the Saban Media Center in Hollywood, where PEOPLE magazine caught her.
The 50-year-old American actress and former model, who plays Tommy Norris’ (Billy Bob Thornton) wife Angela in the series, told the outlet about how Sheridan communicates with her when he’s writing.
She said: “I just know I’m going to get a text from him, like when he’s writing… when he’s laughing at his own writing… then I get a text.”
Explaining her role, Larter admitted, “I think it’s great. Because I think most mothers feel that way… Angela doesn’t like it, you know, she doesn’t conform to societal norms. She’s going to do whatever she wants.”
For those who don’t know, Husbandman season 1 was released on November 17, 2024 on Paramount+ and aired a total of 10 episodes, while the second season was released on Sunday, November 16, 2025, with the same number of episodes as the first season.
The series is set “in the world of the West Texas oil fields, where riotous and wild billionaires fuel a boom so vast that it is reshaping our climate, our economy, and our geopolitics,” according to the synopsis.
It is relevant to mention that Husbandmanwhich is streaming on Paramount+, is expected to release its third season in November this year.
