Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson reportedly had a nasty falling out while filming a three-part road trip for Netflix, leaving the project falling apart.
Now the doctor’s director, Nicola Marsh, has responded to the row on Instagram, writing: “And that’s what the final year of work is about.”

Malik is said to have made comments about Tomlinson’s late mother – who died of leukemia in 2016 – turning the emotional reunion into dramatic consequences.
“The guys were on location filming. Zayn started acting strange and was talking,” the source claimed.
What sent the incident into a spiral was when Malik threw a punch at his former bandmate when the shooting occurred in Wyoming.
Tomlinson was reportedly shocked because not only did he take a blow that cut his head and left him with a concussion, but he was also stunned by the Magic hitmaker is said to have used such comments about his mother.
“It turned into an argument, after which Zayn made a comment about Louis’ mother, Johannah. Louis was stunned and in shock. When he started moving, Zayn attacked him.”
“What clearly hurt Louis the most was Zayn’s comment about his mother,” the insider said, adding: “Zayn knew how much Johannah means to Louis and his family.”
After the incident, attempts were made to bridge the rift between Malik and Tomlinson.
“It made Louis so upset; it was clear he would never be able to film with Zayn again.”
However, no breakthrough had been achieved, forcing Netflix to ‘terminate the series’.
Meanwhile, according to reports, Zayn and Tomlinson have not spoken to each other until now, which has raised concerns among One Direction fans as to whether their friendly bond can return to normal after this alleged incident.
