Jack Osbourne is sending a blunt message to celebrities who speak out about politics

Jack Osbourne took aim at celebrities who share their political views, telling them to ‘shut up’.

The son of late rocker Ozzy Osbourne and TV personality Sharon Osbourne said celebrities should limit themselves to being entertainers.

Jack and Sharon were in Washington on Friday, May 15, when Indiana Republican Party Representative Victoria Spartz entered Ozzy’s biography into the Congressional Record.

Afterwards, a TMZ reporter asked the pair, “Are you guys political at all?”

To which Jack replied, “You know what, I think celebrities should just shut up. Provide entertainment. Entertain the people. Shut the fuck up.”

The news reporter then asked him, “Don’t you think that if you have a platform, and you have a big opinion, maybe you should use your platform to change hearts and minds?”

Jack replied, “Then be a politician, don’t be an entertainer.”

When the TV personality was asked if he would ever become a politician, Jack replied: “No!”

For those unfamiliar, Jack’s father, Ozzy, died on July 22, 2025 due to cardiac arrest. He was 76.

“It is with more sadness than words can convey that we must report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family’s privacy at this time,” the Osbourne family wrote in its statement at the time.
