John Stamos pays a heartfelt tribute to his late friend and former costar Bob Saget on what would have been the late comedian’s 70th birthday.
The 62-year-old actor took to his Instagram and posted an emotional throwback photo with Saget, which he described as their “last photo” together.
For those unfamiliar, the Madagascar voice actor passed away in January 2022.
In the honorary post, Stamos shared a carousel of throwback photos with Saget, including the “last photo” in the final slide.
In the photo, Saget and Stamos posed with their wives as they appeared to enjoy a sunset on a yacht in the middle of the water.
Stamos wrote in the caption, “We threw each other amazing birthday parties. Your 70th today would have been amazing! I miss you and love you.”
Other footage showed Saget and Stamos performing on stage, Stamos hugging Saget while sitting behind a drum kit, and a silly selfie of the pair.
A video of Stamos and Saget singing together was also included with the slides.
Friends and fans rushed to the comments section to express their love for the late comedian, who died at the age of 65.
It is pertinent to mention that Stamos and Saget acted together in their infamous film ABC family sitcom Full house, which ran from 1987 to 1995.
The pair reprized their roles in Netflix Fuller House scovered from 2016 to 2020.
