Kate Cassidy confessed she can’t help comparing men to her late boyfriend Liam Payne.
The 27-year-old influencer dated the former One Direction singer for two years until his tragic death at the age of 31 after falling from a hotel balcony in Argentina in 2024.
Kate said in a TikTok post: “I literally compare everyone to my late partner. For anyone new here, I lost my partner a year and a half ago and he has ticked every box on the checklist.”
The influencer explained how she was ‘kicked out’ when her date forced a friend accompanying them to pay her own bill.
Cassidy said: ‘I was devastated, Liam never did that, some of these men are like pulling teeth.’
The social media personality has been open about her grief over the Take that away artist, but revealed last month that she was ready to start dating again.
In an Instagram video, she said: “I’m ready to start dating again. It’s been a year and a half since Liam passed away.”
Kate continued, “I think love after loss is a big chapter in your grieving process and I don’t know what that will feel like. But I do know that I loved being in love.”
“I want to have children one day, I want to have a family and I know Liam would want that for me and if the tables were turned, I would want him to be happy and fall in love again. I will always love Liam and that will never change no matter who I meet and who comes into my life,” she added.
“I’m going to think about Liam on my wedding day, I’m going to think about him every day for the rest of my life and that goes without saying,” Kate Cassidy said of how her love for Liam Payne would live on with her.
