Meta has rolled out the Instagram card in Pakistan and offered users an interactive way to discover content and make contact with friends, while guaranteeing strong privacy controls.

With this interactive map, users can explore stories, rolls, messages and notes that are tagged with specific locations, making it easier to find what is happening around them.

Instagram mother company Meta announced the latest position on 4 October, which is immediately available at the top of the DM -Inboxes of users.

With the new function, Pakistani can share their location and explore stories, rolls, messages and notes with locationags, making it easier to find what friends and favorite makers share concerts, cafés or local hangouts. Users can also register to share their latest active location with selected friends, good friends or no one at all.

Privacy remains central in the experience. Sharing locations is always switched off as standard and users have full control over who can see their location.

A persistent indicator at the top of the map now clearly shows whether the sharing of locations is active, while memories appear when adding locationags.

Parents who supervise teenagers on Instagram also have full supervision, with options to view and manage the preferences of their child.

Meta has refined the Instagram card with updates, including the removal of profile photos from MAP -content, clarifying indicators when the location is switched off and an example of how tagged content will appear.

Earlier, Instagram had introduced a new wave of functions that were designed to improve sharing and connection on the app-included a long-awaited repost function, a live location card and a renewed reel interface.

Announced by parent company Meta On 6 August, the update brings three important tools: a profile tab for re -placed content, optional location -parts via an interactive map and a new tab “Friends” in Haspels to work on the surface.
