Gavin Casalegno has shared his honest doubts about Jeremiah and Denise’s dynamic.
In a new interview with We weeklyCasalegno, 26, weighed in on Jeremiah’s budding romance with Denise, played by Isabella Briggs, following his broken engagement to Jenny Han’s Belly, played by Lola Tung The summer I became beautiful.
The actor shared his candid thoughts and explained why he thinks Denise might be a better fit for Jeremiah.
“I think Denise sees Jeremiah in a different light,” he began.
“Growing up with Jeremiah, there’s a little bit of fame that might have gotten in the way of things,” he added.
Casalegno said he can understand why newcomer Denise seems to connect with Jeremiah, noting that their dynamic brings out different layers of the character.
“Denise is more real and brings out different parts of Jeremiah,” he added.
“But I don’t know if that’s good or bad,” he continued, before switching to a new topic.
