Miley Cyrus, who recently revealed her engagement to Maxx Morando, has reportedly reconciled with her estranged father, Billy Ray Cyrus.

Reports have revealed that Billy Ray’s new partner, Elizabeth Hurley, played a key role in helping mend the family rift.

Reflecting on her journey with her father, the 31-year-old Grammy-winning singer shared insights during a June 2024 appearance on David Letterman’s Netflix series My next guest needs no introduction.

Cyrus spoke candidly about both the positive and negative lessons she learned from Billy Ray.

“She’s in a relationship and has her feet on the ground with the real and nature, and he always has, even when he was super famous,” Miley noted, highlighting her father’s grounded approach despite the fame.

For context, tensions in the Cyrus family escalated after Miley’s mother, Tish Cyrus, filed for divorce from Billy Ray in April 2022, causing a period of estrangement between father and daughter.

Cyrus added, “I’m grateful that I was able to see him in front of me. He almost gave me this map. And there’s a map of what to do and what not to do, and he guided me on both.”

She also admitted, “I inherited narcissism from my father too,” and offered a candid reflection on the complexities of their relationship.
