Eva Mendes has revealed what her date nights are like with partner Ryan Gosling.
“Yes, we have regular date nights,” Mendes said in an interview with PEOPLE magazine.
She described the things the two like and how they try to incorporate this into their dates to keep the spark ‘alive’.
“I don’t know what else to say. We love movies and go to the movies, so we try to keep that alive,” Eva added.
She teased that their “time together” consists of “all the unmentionables,” before adding, “When you want attention you go certain places, and when you don’t you know where to go.” We do the latter.’
Eva and Ryan met during filming The place behind the pines in August 2011 and they now share two children, Esmeralda, 11, and Amada, nine.
The couple keep their relationship out of the spotlight, with Eva explaining their 2020 decision in a since-deleted Instagram post.
“I have always had a clear boundary when it comes to my husband and my children. I will talk about it of course, with boundaries, but I will not post pictures of our daily life,” she wrote at the time. “Because my children are so small and don’t understand what posting their image really means, I don’t have their permission. And I won’t post their image until they are old enough to give me permission.”
She doubled down on her decision in 2021, responding to a fan who asked her to post more photos of Ryan to her Instagram account.
“As for Ryan, I only post (flashbacks) of things that are already ‘out there’ (like photos from movies we made or things like that), she wrote. “My husband and my kids are private. That’s important to me.”
