Lily collins has opened up about her filming experience with Emily in Paris season 5.
Speak with People magazinethe actress recalled the scene with Ashley Park in which she cried.
Collins, who plays Emily Cooper in the Netflix series, says: “One of my favorite moments was filming the scene with Ashley [Park] where we had our face masks on and we couldn’t stop laughing – we were crying,” referring to Park, who plays Mindy Chen.
“It’s always fun with Ashley,” Collins added.
She continued, “Oh, there are so many fun scenes. Going to Venice was epic, you know, I’ve never been to Venice before, so shooting with Ashley on the streets of Venice was really magical.”
It is pertinent to mention that Park also told the outlet about wrapping up filming earlier. She said, “We stopped filming in Venice, so it was really a once in a lifetime experience to be able to explore or fully explore a new environment.”
The season 5 of Emily in Paris starring Ashley Park and Lily Collins as best friends, was released on Netflix on December 18.

Collins supported Park during a critical health crisis in 2024, when the actress suffered from septic shock. Meanwhile, Collins has often credited Park with supporting her through the challenges of motherhood and filming season 5 in 2025.
