Big Brother host Julie Chen Moonves mourns Mickey Lee’s death!
On her Instagram account, the 55-year-old TV personality paid a heartbreaking tribute to a guest close to her heart on Friday.
“Two months ago I interviewed Mickey Lee on God 101. That’s when she revealed to me that she was born with a hole in her heart, and as an adult survived an ATV accident that should have killed her, but God kept her alive,” Julie wrote.
She further wrote, “Last night God brought her home. Rest in peace, dear Mickey. I will see you again in eternity on the other side.”
“I pray that the good Lord comforts and heals your family and loved ones as we mourn your passing. Amen,” the reality TV host added.
Mickey, who appeared in season 27 of the reality show Big brotherdied on Thursday, December 25 after multiple cardiac arrests. She was 35.
Her death was announced by her family on social media on Friday.
“Mickey captured the hearts of audiences nationwide through her performance on Big Brother, where her authenticity, strength and spirit left a lasting impression on fans and other cast members alike,” the statement said.
“She will be remembered for the joy she brought to the lives of so many and for the genuine connections she formed both on and off screen,” she added.
