Tom Hiddleston talked about the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday and shared some surprising details about the reprise of his character Loki.
The upcoming Marvel film will see the actor reunite with his co-stars in the franchise for the first time since the end of Loki season two in 2023.
Hiddleston recently told GQ Hype, “To become someone else, whose story had a different ending, he had to make peace with the things he did. It gave him the power of authorship over his own story.”
The actor teased the upcoming plot twist, claiming, “It’s monumental. The centerpiece of the story is absolutely brilliant and was so surprising when I read it.”
“It’s just never been done before,” he noted.
For those who don’t know, Avengers: Doomsday is set around the arrival of Doctor Doom, played by Robert Downey Jr. Additionally, it will feature a multiverse crisis resulting in the team-up of Avengers, Fantastic Four, X-Men, and Wakandans.
In addition to Tom Hiddleston, the film also stars Patrick Stewart as Professor X, Ian McKellen as Magneto, Chris Evans as Steve Rogers and Tom Holland as Spider-Man.
It is pertinent to mention that Avengers: Doomsday will release on December 18, 2026.
