Charlie Heaton recently opened up about his son’s latest television obsession.
On Thursday, January 8, the 31-year-old actor and musician attended the season 4 premiere of Industry at the Regal Union Square, where he opened up PEOPLE magazine about his 11-year-old son Archie’s fixation on his hit Netflix show Stranger things.
Heaton, who plays Jonathan Byers in the horror TV series, said: “He’s just started doing it. Last year he got to come on set and that was really cool.”
For those who don’t know, The new mutants star shares his only child with his former Comanechi bandmate, Akiko Matsuura.
He previously chatted with Wonderland Magazine to promote the series’ fifth season Stranger things, where he reflected on fatherhood.
Heaton joked, “As a young father you have to grow up very quickly. You also have to learn ethical priorities, and you have to take care of someone.”
“That’s a big thing. You want to give them good experiences and a lot of love, and of course the hardest part is distance. But that’s part of the sacrifice,” he said. Soul mates actor stated.
It is relevant to mention that Stranger things which debuted in 2016, dropped the final episode of season 5 on New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2025.
