Jay Shetty enters the new year with a renewed focus on realignment and living more consciously.
Speak with PEOPLE Magazinethe author and life coach shared his New Year’s resolutions and how he prioritized what really matters most to him.
“What I’m losing in my own life is outsourcing things that are important to me,” Shetty told the outlet.
He explained that this shift means regaining control over decisions and priorities that are often sidelined or handed over to others.
“I think a lot of us outsource decisions about things that are really important to us or that we say are priorities,” only to realize that those values “go to the bottom of the list by the end of the year,” he said.
The 38-year-old said he has now become much more deliberate in the way he manages his time, making sure his days reflect what he values most.
“What I take with me into the new year is making sure that my priorities are my priorities and that my life and my day and my weeks and my months and my year are structured around the things that I deeply believe in and that are important to me,” Shetty emphasized.
