Kanye West’s tweet about Super Bowl halftime resurfaced after Bad Bunny’s show

Ye called himself “deserving” in an old tweet about the Super Bowl halftime show

When Kendrick Lamar took the stage for the Super Bowl halftime show last year, he received praise from his peers, including Kanye West.

“I actually liked KENDRIICK HALF TIME SHOW,” Ye said on X, formerly known as Twitter, at the time.

But despite the praise, the Donda hitmaker didn’t seem happy overall. He expressed his dissatisfaction later in the tweet.

The Grammy winner explained that he deserves more to headline the halftime show of the Super Bowl.

But he didn’t stop there; The Chicago rap star also mentioned Travis Scott and Drake as suitable candidates to perform at the event.

“ME OR TRAV OR FA***T (AKA DRAKE) EARNED A SUPER BOWL FOR KENDRICK,” Ye wrote.

However, West’s chances of headlining a Super Bowl halftime show are uncertain; what is confirmed is his appearance in Europe for the first time in more than a decade.

The rapper Through the Wire will perform at Vitesse Arnhem’s GelreDome football stadium, followed by a second show in Reggio Emilia, Italy, on July 18.

It’s worth noting that Ye last performed in Europe at the Glastonbury Festival in 2015.
