Kate Hudson opens up about gratitude as she recalls her early days as an actor.
The star, who was only nominated for an Oscar at the age of 21 for her work in Almost Famous, says she wouldn’t change anything in the past.
“The answer is so simple, and it’s nothing. I’m not looking back,” says the actress. “I look at my life as a series of amazing, privileged, wonderful moments that of course have had a lot of personal things that have been challenging along the way. But I never look back and wish it was different than it was.”
Hudson tells People: “All mistakes, all uncertainty or moments of insecurity are exactly what they should be.”
The actress added: “To be so young and to be nominated at 21. When I look back on it, I can reflect now. Now that I’ve had a 20-year career, it’s a completely different feeling to come into a room and there are people I’ve worked with and people I’ve known for decades. It’s familiar and you understand the business differently.”
