Daniel Radcliffe is excited about his longtime partner Erin Drake.
The Harry Potter star, who has been in a relationship with actress Erin Darke for more than a decade, admitted that his partner is “a big part” of his happiness during a recent chat with moderator Josh Horowitz at an event at the 92nd Street Y in New York City.
While talking about his return to Broadway, Daniel said, “One of the most moving parts of the show for me is that there’s a moment where I’m talking about my love interest and I’m talking about how well they know me. There’s something about being truly known, understood and seen by another human being. That’s why love exists.”
And the actor noted that Erin has “obviously been a huge part of my happiness.”
Reflecting on his ups and downs in his early 20s, Daniel shared that he is now in a much better place with Erin and their son.
“There have been times in my life, when I was in my late teens and early twenties, when I was very sad and scared and didn’t know what the future would hold for me or how I would look back on my life. I never believed then that I would experience the happiness that I have now with my partner, with my son and with my life in general,” he added.
