“It says I was born in Dalby, where my family is from, but that’s not the case,” the spokesperson said Barbie actress shared, adding: “I was born on the Gold Coast.”

She expresses her shock that it has been a long time since she has been in the industry and no one has responded to the rumor. She noted, “It’s not a stupid rumor, it’s just amazing that it’s still false so far.”

For those unfamiliar, Dalby is a rural town in Queensland’s Western Downs Region, with a population of just 12,758 in the town.

“My family are from a small country town called Dalby, which is three hours inland,” she revealed at the time. “It’s very small. When I go back to Dalby everyone says, ‘What happened to you?’ and I was like, ‘Oh, I made a movie and stuff, what’s going on here?’ They say, ‘We’re getting a Big W.'”
