Speculation increased in May 2025 when Cruise and Anderson were spotted leaving the same New York City hotel just minutes apart.
Insiders claim that the Mission impossible alum has stayed in touch with Anderson since praising her performance in the film The last showgirl.
An insider has now explained this Radaronline“Anderson has changed a lot in recent years. She is so much more balanced. This big comeback in her career has given her a huge boost of confidence, and it also makes people see her in a completely different light.”
They added: “Tom contacted her after Showgirl came to praise her work, and they have kept in touch ever since.”
“There’s definitely a spark between them. People have noticed and mentioned it to Tom. He’s a very private guy, so until they get to a point where they want to make this official, he’s going to play his cards close to his chest – but he’s certainly not dismissing the idea of dating her when people bring it up.”
This comes after Tom Cruise’s reported split from Ana de Armas and Pamela Anderson made it clear that her Naked Gun co-star Liam Neeson and she are ‘better friends’ after they appeared to have a flirty connection.
Sources note that Cruise may be ready to do something for Anderson, noting, “He always speaks highly of Pamela.”
