Nicole Kidman reflected on a difficult year following her divorce from Keith Urban.
Months after the couple finalized their divorce, after Kidman officially filed for divorce in September 2025, the Baby girl star finally opened up about her life and revealed whether she is “doing okay.”
In an interview with Variety, published on March 11 the 58-year-old actress spoke about her career, upcoming projects and personal life.
During the conversation, when the outlet noted that “every year is probably Nicole Kidman’s year,” the… Big little lies Alum corrected by saying, “Not last year. I was quiet. There were other things going on. I was in my shell.’
When asked if she’s ‘ready to come out [her] shell,” Kidman replied with complete conviction, “now I’m about to say, ‘2026.’ Here we go.’ I brought Practical Magic [Sandra Bullock]. I will be in full witch mode.”
Elsewhere during the interview, when the publisher inquired about her well-being, the mother of two noted that she is doing well because she will “always move in the direction of good.”
“What I’m grateful for is that I can keep my family as they are and I can move on. That’s that,” Kidman added. “I don’t discuss anything else out of respect. I stay in a place of ‘We are a family,’ and we will remain so. My beautiful girls, my darlings, who are suddenly women.”
For those unfamiliar, Kidman and Urban ended their marriage after nearly two decades together.
The couple also welcomed two daughters together, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 15.
