Zendaya seemingly hinted at her marriage to Tom Holland amid rumors that the couple secretly exchanged vows.
During the Dune At the star’s final appearance at Essence’s Black Women in Hollywood Awards on March 12, the event’s host, Marsai Martin, put the spotlight on the actress and asked for an idea if her and Tom’s wedding rumors were true.
Martin addressed her “cousin” Zendaya directly, noting that she “doesn’t play about her private life” as she asked the Euphoria star to give her a “sign.”
At Martin’s request, the 29-year-old actress showed the camera a gold band she was wearing on her ring finger, apparently wearing her wedding ring and the awards ceremony attendees started applauding her move.
If People According to sources present at the event, other attendees claimed that Zendaya had well wishes for her wedding.
Notably, Zendaya stepped out in an all-white mini dress, previously worn by Whitney Houston and Sarah Jessica Parker, with the gold jewelry.
Zendaya was also spotted wearing a thin gold band at the Louis Vuitton fashion show on Tuesday, March 10.
The rumors originally started when Zendaya’s stylist, Law Roach, outright claimed that the actress and the Spider Man actor secretly tied the knot.
“The wedding already happened. You missed it,” he told Access Hollywood on March 1 at the Actor Awards.
