Fetty Wap announces comeback with new album after early release from prison

Fetty Wap’s new album will be released sooner than you think!

The 34-year-old rapper announced on Instagram that his fourth album, Zavier, will be released on March 27.

“If you lose the money, everyone thinks that’s the worst thing,” Fetty said in the black-and-white video.

He went on to say, “When it gets really quiet, it’s different. I got so used to hearing Fetty everywhere before I even knew who Zavier was.”

“Somewhere in all of that, I became a character in my own life. People really liked what I could offer in real life, not who I really was,” the actor added. Trap queen crooner. “If they take everything away, you’re left with the person your mother made.”

The announcement comes just two and a half months after Fetty was released from prison. The My way hitmaker was sentenced to prison in May 2023 after pleading guilty to conspiracy to distribute and possess controlled substances.

“I’m just happy and grateful to be back and grateful that my fans haven’t forgotten me. I’m so grateful to my family, fans and team for keeping me in check,” he said in his statement.

“I want to thank my family, friends and fans for the love, prayers and continued support – it truly means the world to me,” the rapper continued. “Right now, my focus is on giving back through my community initiatives and foundation, supporting at-risk young children by expanding access to education, early technical skills and eye care for young children and students so they can emerge as their best selves.”

Fetty added: “I am committed to moving forward with purpose and making a meaningful impact where it matters most.”
