Zendaya just revealed that she watched all the movies Twilight films after she was cast in The drama.
The 29-year-old actress plays Robert’s on-screen love interest in the new romantic black comedy-drama film, and Zendaya has revealed that the project is what made her want to watch the film. Twilight franchise for the first time.
Speak with The Hollywood Reporter, Zendaya shared, “I thought, ‘How come I’ve never seen these movies before?’ But I felt like I had to, it’s a cultural phenomenon that I wasn’t part of yet.”
“I watched them all in one day. It was great, I enjoyed it,” she added.
Additionally, Zendaya enjoyed starring alongside Robert in the unconventional new rom-com.
The actress said, “These characters are unique. They are very unique people and the circumstance is quite unique and it reveals a lot about love, about what we are willing to do for love, what we are willing to accept, and how much you really know your partner.”
Meanwhile, Robert also complimented Zendaya’s work ethic and was impressed that his co-star watched the entire film Twilight series in just two days.
The Hollywood star joked: “It’s interesting, [she’s like] “I just have to see what he’s doing.” Apparently she liked them. She watched all five in two days, which is impressive.”
And when asked about sharing the screen with Zendaya again, he said, “It was so much fun, I love working with her. I think she’s amazing and I would do it again and again.”
