His colleague colleagues are very happy with the news. One of his close friends, Stephen Colbert, who is generally known to organize another Late-Night Show on CBS, shared his thoughts after hearing the good news.

On September 22, the 61-year-old expressed his feelings about the return of Jimmy Kimmel.

Colbert said in his show: “We do 160 of these a year or something, and if I have the chance, it is always nice to start the show with good news.”

He continued his statement: “Well, just a few hours before we recorded this broadcast, we received a message that our long national late-nightmare is over, because Disney announced that Jimmy Kimmel will return to Air on ABC on Tuesday evening.”
