‘I don’t feel comfortable at times’

Blackpink Rosé touches my heart by becoming emotional: ‘Sometimes I don’t feel comfortable’

Blackpink Rosé just opened the floodgates of her feelings and revealed how she feels when it comes to comfort and standing in her own sin.

She shared all this in a candid moment together with Paloma Clément-Picos, editor-in-chief of CR Fashion Book,

In the conversation, she admitted, “I’m a lot more comfortable than I was in my early 20s, but I’m not quite there yet. At 29, I haven’t mastered the feeling of being completely comfortable, but I’m certainly better at it than I was years ago.”

She even shared quite a bit of candor during the chat, as when asked about the confidence she’s still building, and whether it’s something she’ll ever stop, Rosé said, “I don’t know if I’ve achieved it yet. But it’s something I have to work on every day. Even when I feel very confident, my mind is constantly evolving and finding new challenges. It’s constant work. But I’m learning little tricks — little ways to understand how my brain works.”

Towards the end of the chat, the topic also turned to her experience in the industry and joining a popular girl group like Blackpink. In this regard, she explained her feelings about his milestone, which took almost a decade to build, admitting: “It certainly is. I feel it in my bones now. A few years ago I would say, ‘It’s been so many years’. But now I really feel the decade. We’ve been through so much. We’ve achieved a lot and faced a lot of challenges.”

“I’m proud that we have ten years of experience. I’m grateful for those years. In the past, I focused only on the performing, working version of myself and neglected the others. But I’ve learned that in order for everything to function properly, I have to take care of every part of myself, and I’m still learning how to do that.”
