Gwyneth Paltrow takes over her parents’ role to make her a big star.
The 53-year-old, the daughter of actress Blythe Danner and film producer and director Bruce Paltrow, says she is the original nepo baby.
“I was extremely lucky to have opportunities early on, probably partly because I’m one of the original nepo babies,” Gwyneth joked, “but I’d be lying if I said that clarified my path.”
“There were a lot of times when the industry made it very clear that women are expected to keep their own way, be graceful and quiet and above all, be one thing. And I’ve never been very good at being one thing,” she added,
This comes days after Paltrow thanked mom Danner for endless support.
“Mom, you showed me what it looks like to dedicate yourself completely to a craft, to be insanely creative and courageous in your choices on stage, and to carry yourself with so much grace even when this industry doesn’t make it that easy sometimes. So thank you,” she said.
