Jimmy Kimmel had a chaotic last week with his controversial suspension from late night, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus ensures that she comforts her a bit.
The 11-way Emmy Awards winner appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live Wearing a cute small, black colored puppy called “Ethel”, of which she claimed it was her family pet.
Before he continued with the show, the 64-year-old revealed that she bought her puppy to comfort Kimmel after all the storm he went through.
“I want you to meet Ethel. She is the puppy of my sister and her family. She is three months old,” said Julia.
While the reason to bring the dog, the Thunderbolts* Star added: “I thought it was so crazy last week. That to be with a puppy, you might do well.”
She gently handed the dog to Jimmy, who lovingly held her in his arms.
Dreyfus also said jokes that Ethel “wanted to get into the show because she is a big fan of the first amendment.”
The 57-year-old TV gastheer said in response: “Many dogs nowadays really love free speech.”
The Wipe Star opened that she mainly flew to Kimmel to comfort him. She claimed: ‘I love you. I think what you did last week, was brave and powerful.
On September 17, the actor and comedian was postponed for an indefinite period from his late night show by ABC about his insensitive comments about Charlie Kirk.
But Disney officially brought him back and broadcast his first show after the suspension on September 23.
