Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt split: New parents struggle to stay on good terms

Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt have split just five months after becoming parents!

The former couple welcomed their first child, daughter Scottie Rose, in December 2025.

With reports of a sudden split, insiders have revealed Davidson and Hewitt are struggling to adjust to co-parenting.

A source told People Magazine that they “would like to be friends” after the breakup. However, it is reportedly “hard to think about reaching that place now.”

According to the source, “They are not getting along at the moment.”

“They were already going through a bit of a rough time when Elsie was pregnant. It happened so quickly between them and they didn’t know each other that well,” she added.

Notably, Davidson and Hewitt are said to be “trying to work out” how they will raise Rose together.

Additionally, sources revealed that Hewitt isn’t “fighting” the SNL alum to see their baby. He noted, “At the end of the day, they would like to be friends and do things together, but it’s hard to think about going to that place right now.”

“He’s a softie and he wants to be with the woman he has a child with. It’s not completely out of the question. The breakup was mutual,” she added.

Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt were first linked in March 2025 and announced a pregnancy in July 2025.

Speaking about his life as a father, Davidson told the newspaper in March: “My dad’s life is f****** awesome.”

“It’s exhausting, rewarding and adorable. And I’m very lucky because Elsie is an amazing mother, and I can’t emphasize enough how lucky I am,” he added at the time.
