Match officials for Pakistan-South Africa series announced

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has appointed the competition officials for the upcoming Test and White ball series between Pakistan and South Africa, from 12 October to 8 November.

The first test is played in the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore from 12-16 October. Rodney Tucker in Australia, a member of the ICC Elite Panel or Umpires, will serve as a referee on the field next to Christopher Brown in New Zealand, which is part of the ICC Emerging UMPIRES Group.

Ranjan Madugalle from Sri Lanka will officer as a competition referee for the upcoming ICC World Test Championship 2025-27 matches and White-Ball Series.

Saikat Sharfuddoula from Bangladesh, also of the ICC Elite Panel or Umpires, will perform the tasks of the third referee, while the Pakistani Faisal Khan Afridi of the ICC International Panel or Umpires will act as the fourth referee.

For the second test, to be played in the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from 20 to 24 October, Christopher Brown is accompanied by Saikat Sharfuddoula as referees on the field, while Rodney Tucker will officer as a third referee. Rashid Riaz, from the ICC International Panel or Umpires, will serve as the fourth referee.

In the first T20i on October 28 in the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Muhammad Asif Yaqoob (ICC Emerging Umpires Group) will be accompanied by Rashid Riaz as referees on the field, with Faisal Khan Abridi as third referee and Tariq Rasheder. The same team of civil servants will supervise the second T20i on 31 October in the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

For the third T20i, which will be played at the same location on November 1, Rashid Riaz and Faisal Khan Afridi will serve as referees on the field, with ASIF Yaqoob as the third referee and Tariq Rasheed as the fourth referee.

For the three ODIs in the IQbal Stadium, Faisalabad, Saikat Sharfuddoula and Asif Yaqoob, on November 4 on November 4, the first ODI will be sacrificed on the field, while the English Alex Wharf, a member of the ICC Elite Panel of Umpires, the third referee.

Alex Wharf and Ahsan Raza (both from the ICC Elite Panel or Umpires) will work together for the first time in the series during the second ODI as Ugpires on the field. Saikat Sharfuddoula and Rashid Riaz will perform the tasks of third and fourth referees respectively.

For the third and last ODI, Saikat Sharfuddoula and Faisal Khan Afridi will serve as referees on the field, Alex Wharf will be the third referee, while Rashid Riaz will act as the fourth referee.
