Victoria Beckham recently explained why Spice Girls questions caused her in her new Netflix documentary.
The fashion designer thought about her era of Spice Girls and how the band had a negative impact on her career.
During her chat with Sunday Times Style MagazineDavid Beckham’s wife said: “I was defined by a period of four years in my life. Those were the Spice Girls.”
Victoria noted that it cost her “almost two decades to fight that and I feel that I can now only look back and talk about it”.
The former musician confessed: “I am not going to lie and I was asked questions about when I was in the Spice Girls, was quite activated.”
“And I would say those were the most difficult moments. It was almost like therapy for me,” be the 51-year-old.
Elsewhere in the interview, Victoria also expressed her preference for her band members.
“I love the Spice Girls. I really do that. And it was great thinking about that time. The other night I ate with Emma and Geri, and Mel B sent me at the weekend,” she continued.
Victoria pointed out: “I still speak with all the girls. I am so proud of everything we did.”
“I would not have been who I am now if it was not for the Spice Girls, 100 percent,” added four of whom she shares with David.
In the meantime, Victoria opened that it was an emotional experience about her family, Spice Girls, the problems they had with the company and “many triggers”.
“I was crying. Like I said, I didn’t see the last adaptation, but yes, I cried. It takes a lot to let me cry, but I cried. You know, I deserved my place to show in Paris, I deserved respect,” said the fashion designer.
