Victoria Beckham shares unfiltered thoughts on nepotism

Victoria Beckham recently put the spotlight on the topic of nepotism, urging people to be more lenient towards those often labeled as ‘nepo babies’.

The 51-year-old star, who is married to David Beckham, discussed the issue in an exclusive chat with The sun.

Speaking about her son Cruz, she said: “He taught himself to play about seven instruments. He writes his own songs, he put together a band. He’s done it right from the ground up.”

In response, journalist Clemmie Moodie commented: “He is not a traditional nepo baby.”

The former Spice Girl added: “But he’s a nepo. I mean, I feel sorry for these kids who are considered fake babies. The kids are just their parents’ kids. It’s not their fault. Give them a chance. It’s about people being good and kind. It’s okay to be ambitious, but it’s more important to be kind.”

‘Nepotism babies’ mainly refer to the children of actors, singers and other well-known public figures.

Meanwhile, Victoria shares three sons – Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz – and a daughter, Harper – with the former British football legend.

On the professional front, Victoria is currently promoting her Netflix documentary series Victoria Beckhamwhich was released last week.
