Lana Del Rey stirs up madness with the James Bond 007 theme song

Lana Del Rey reportedly stepped into the world of James Bond music, but not for a movie.

The singer is rumored to be behind the theme song for the upcoming video game 007: First light, will be released in March 2026.

Fans on Reddit recently spotted a new song titled First light was registered with the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers under Del Rey’s real name, Elizabeth Grant.

The listing also listed Universal Music Corporation as the publisher, sparking rumors that the song could be tied to IO Interactive’s new Bond game.

While no official statement has confirmed the connection, the song’s title and timing have caused speculation to quickly increase.

Del Rey’s history with the Bond franchise has only fueled the rumors, as in her 2015 song 24 was reportedly in the running for Specter’s theme before Sam Smith’s There is writing on the wall was chosen.
