Katie Price is determined not to let her personal problems affect her professional life.
Ever since her ex-husband Kieran Hayler was charged with serious crimes, including multiple counts of ra** and se**all assault involving a minor, fans have been waiting for Katie’s response.
For context, the 38-year-old personal trainer is said to have committed the offenses while married to the former glamor model, 47.
The couple tied the knot in 2013 and share two children. They divorced in 2018.
Following the news, Katie took to the stage in Swansea on Monday night as part of her tour with girlfriend Kerry Katona, just before the charges against Kieran became public.
According to The sun, she directly addressed the situation during the show and let the audience know that she was aware of the developments.
The mother of five said:
“The thing that’s coming out tonight. I’m still in shock.
‘I could have said: F**k it, I’m going to do this show with that coming out. “But I’m professional and I do it.”
The next day, Katie was seen looking somber for the first time, driving her Range Rover as she traveled to the next stop on her tour with Kerry.
Her appearance comes amid reports that she may be called to testify in court following the allegations.
A source from the Crown Prosecution Service has been quoted by The sun as said:
“Katie could be called to testify.
“She was married to Kieran when these offenses allegedly occurred. It wouldn’t be a surprise if she was drafted.”
Former stripper Kieran Hayler will appear at Crawley Magistrates’ Court on November 19.
