Selena Gomez shares rare advice on how to improve mood during bad days

Selena Gomez recently shared some valuable advice on how to improve your mood, especially if you’re feeling down.

The Only murders in the building actress explains during her conversation what she does during her bad days PEOPLE at the Rare Impact Fund Benefit in Los Angeles last month.

“Some days you just have to let yourself out and then have a good laugh,” says the 33-year-old.

Selena reveals she doesn’t know what the key is to increasing your happiness, but she discusses ways that work for her.

“I like to maybe just see one friend and talk to my therapist, and look for people who can help in the situation,” explains the Emilia Perez actress.

Elsewhere in the interview, Selena, who attended the event with her husband Benny Blanco, also offers self-care tips for dealing with mental health issues.

Thinking about the benefit of the Rare Impact Fund, the Wizards of Waverly Place actress expresses hope that they “continue to raise money for what we’re doing around the world,” as she talks about raising money for mental health care.

Ultimately, Selena adds, “It’s something I couldn’t be more excited about because it’s something that we’re actively seeing on the ground that people are working on, so it’s amazing.”
