Fans of Hilary Duff are extremely excited now that the actor-singer is ready to release new music after a ten-year hiatus.
The 38-year-old multi-dashed star took to Instagram on Wednesday, November 5, and shared a short clip of herself from what appeared to be a music video.
The Lizzy McGuire star wrote: ‘Morning [cherries emoji]” in the caption of the video, which showed a butterfly landing on Duff’s cheek as she smiled.
The next screen showed the title of her new single, Adult. The upcoming issue is also on the homepage of the Dignity hitmaker’s official website, along with the release date, November 6.
As fans excitedly await the release, they have been voicing their expectations and predictions on social media.
Many fans unanimously agreed that the promo reminded them of Duff’s Metamorphosisas one wrote, “METAMORPHOSSIIIIIS,” and others echoed.
One noted that the butterfly seemed to be an allusion to the older album, “the metamorphosis reference is MEEEEEE SEND,” while a third voted: “This is mature metamorphosis [crying emoji].”
In honor of the upcoming release, one social media sleuth said, “This isn’t a comeback, it’s a Duff earthquake. Pop music, consider yourself served/saved” and “counting the seconds.”
Meanwhile, another shouted: ‘I CANT WAITTT’.
Fans won’t have to wait too long as the single will be released at 8pm EST.
