Brooklyn Beckham is all smiles after his absence from David’s knighthood

Brooklyn Beckham was all smiles at the backlash after not attending father David Beckham’s knighthood earlier this week.

Tensions with the Beckham family reportedly surfaced in May when Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, opted not to attend David Beckham’s lavish 50th birthday party. The split has since left the couple estranged from Brooklyn’s parents and siblings.

Although the pair remained quiet following David’s inauguration on Tuesday, Nicola broke that silence two days later by sharing a clip of Brooklyn on her social media.

The short video, originally posted by his hot sauce brand Cloud 23, shows Brooklyn confidently strolling through the streets of New York City, carrying two bottles of his product.

He exuded a carefree attitude during the twelve-second promotional clip. Sir David was officially knighted for his contributions to sport and charity by King Charles, in recognition of his remarkable 20-year football career and his continued ambassadorial work for UNICEF.

Proudly by his side during the ceremony were his other children: Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 14.

In contrast, Brooklyn not only skipped the milestone event, but also failed to acknowledge it publicly or privately. According to sources, he has yet to personally congratulate his father on the honor.
