Holly Ramsay has been heavily criticized by Adam Peaty’s aunt in an angry tirade after his mother was banned from her hen party.
The influencer, 25, has apparently turned her swimmer fiance’s mother Caroline Peaty, 59, away from her big wedding celebrations in the Cotswolds.
The situation worsened when Adam invited his father-in-law, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, to his bachelor party.
However, Caroline was notably missing from the celebrations as she stayed at home in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, while her soon-to-be daughter-in-law partied with her own mother, Tana Ramsay, family friend Victoria Beckham, and Adam’s sister.
A source close to Adam’s working-class family now told the newspaper Daily mail that the apparent stupidity was obvious, adding that the swimmer, who once shared a close bond with his mother, had distanced himself from her after being seduced by the Ramsays’ fame and glamour.
Adam’s aunt Louise Williams revealed her sadness at her sister not being on the guest list, lashing out at Holly in a social media post, accusing her of being ‘divisive and hurtful’.
She went on to say that her sister is deeply hurt and may not heal anytime soon, despite “opening her home and heart to Holly.”
Her post read: ‘@hollyramsay I’m so glad you had a great chicken. You deserve that as a bride.’
However, as a person you were divisive and hurtful towards a woman, whom I loved and still love dearly.
‘A woman who opened her home and heart to you. You decided, for whatever reason, not to invite her. You have inflicted a pain on my sister that will take a very long time to heal, if I ever do.”
Due to the ongoing family rift, Holly and Adam have now reportedly banned his mother Caroline from their wedding.
