As Matt Damon and Luciana Barroso’s 20th wedding anniversary approaches, the bond between them has never been stronger.
It is striking that the couple experienced several ups and downs during their marriage. But an insider credited the collaboration as the reason the couple became closer.
“Lucy will become a full employee at Artists Equity,” the source said Globe magazine. “She’s learning as she goes to some extent, but it’s been good for their marriage.”
The idea to bring Luciana into the company came from Matt. “He knows how the game is played and he teaches Lucy how to make things happen in the movie business.”
This merger has washed away the problems they reportedly faced during their marriage, the source claims. “It’s a refreshing change of pace from where they were a few years ago.
“Matt went away for months on projects, and Lucy was left at home to do all the parenting on her own. He’s admitted he’s felt guilty about that over the years,” the insider says.
The former bartender also worked as a producer on 2024’s The instigators and the upcoming movie The Ripstarring Matt.
It’s worth noting that Matt and Luciana tied the knot in 2005. The couple shares four children.
