Nick Offerman shares the one holiday rule he and Megan Mullally always follow


Nick Offerman is clearing his schedule for family time this holiday season.

The 55-year-old actor recently opened up about a vacation rule he and his wife, Megan Mullally, share when splitting time between his family in Illinois and her relatives in Oklahoma.

“The only rule is no work,” Offerman told the press while promoting his Netflix series Death by lightning. “Hollywood knows how to leave us alone until the new year comes.”

Offerman and Mullally, 67, met in 2000 while starring in the play together The Berlin Circle. They got engaged in 2002 and surprised friends the following year with a home wedding in Los Angeles.

Their proposal story became a running joke after Offerman once dropped a quarter, prompting Mullally to tease him about his proposal. Later, when he asked for real, she knew immediately. ‘I was clearly terrified’ People quoted him.
