Felicity Jones shares some rare insights into the Christmas chaos at her home.
In a recent conversation with E! News at the premiere of her new film, “Oh. What. Pleasure.‘December 2 in New York City, the Villain one actress revealed how she and her husband prepare for the holidays.
“It’ll be exactly the same as always,” said Jones, who shares a 5-year-old son and 3-year-old daughter with husband Charles Guard. “Every year people get very stressed and worried about burning food [or] not being warm enough.”
However, the 42-year-old actress admitted that the effort to achieve the ideal holiday is inevitable during the holidays. “That’s kind of the fun of the day,” Jones noted.
And this is also the main story of Jones’ new Christmas film.
“A lot of the film is about the invisible labor of one person in the household,” she explained, “how often one person gets up very late at night to wrap presents until the wee hours of the morning. It’s a cry for help for those people, so that everyone works together, so that no one leaves themselves out and does all the hard work.”
It is pertinent to mention that Jones tied the knot with Guard in 2018.
