Neil Diamond’s wife Katie has opened up about the couple’s long-standing marriage.
In an interview with People magazineKatie revealed the secret of almost 14 years of their marriage.
At the premiere of Song sung blue, the American Talent manager said of the couple’s relationship, “We’re best friends and we really support each other. We lift each other up, and through thick and thin, through sickness and health, we really live it. And I think that’s the secret.”
She added: “And in April it will be our 14th wedding anniversary.”
Additionally, Katie opened up about how they plan to celebrate the occasion: “I mean, we try to make it special every day and celebrate every day.”
Neil Diamond and Katie Diamond started dating in 2009 after working together. Neil previously told The Telegraph that he initially had no feelings for Katie as he focused on music.
But he saw Katie in a different light when they started working together. “We slowly fell in love. She wormed her way into my heart and I think she’s a wonderful person. I realized I was in love with her,” Neil said.
