Queen Camilla recently showed her love for Come dance strictly with a surprise message during the show’s live finale.
The message included a royal farewell to the BBC show’s long-time hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman.
Her message was revealed and read out by judge Craig Revel Horwood shortly before the final results.
In a statement shared on social media, Queen Camilla noted this Strictly was always about more than glitter, sequins and scores, before praising Daly and Winkleman.
She called them the show’s best double act and described their contribution as nothing short of “fantastic.”
Finally, the Queen wished them good luck with everything that comes next. “Keeeeeeep dancing!”
Both presenters became emotional and fought back tears as the tribute was played in the studio.
Daly later thanked the Queen for the heartfelt gesture, saying it meant more than words could express.
The Duchess of Edinburgh also appeared at the final to support Ellie Goldstein in a celebratory group dance.
