The Pacers-Knicks matchup provided drama at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night when Karl-Anthony Towns sent the game to overtime, although the New York Knicks ultimately lost to Indiana 137-134.
With the Knicks trailing in the closing seconds, Landry Shamet missed a three-point attempt that could have given New York the lead.
Towns crashed the play, recovered the ball in the air and drew a foul with just 0.2 seconds left, according to footage shared on X.
Despite the momentum shift, the Knicks struggled to close out the game in overtime.
Indiana pulled away late and gave New York another heavy defeat at home. The loss comes against a Pacers team that is struggling with injuries and at the bottom of the standings.
Towns’ dramatic sequence briefly electrified the crowd and gave the Knicks a second chance, but the team failed to capitalize in overtime.
