Louis Partridge is head over heels in love with Olivia Rodrigo.
The 22-year-old star of the upcoming Netflix drama Guinness househas thrown some light on his romance with singer Olivia Rodrigo.
In a recent interview with Esquire UKPartridge discussed how he and Rodrigo, 22, navigated their relationship in public interest.
Partridge admitted that he was being overwhelmed by the attention around their Wimbledon -published this summer. “I didn’t know this would be something,” he said.
“I have seen a lot of pictures of that, it felt pretty public.” Nevertheless, Partridge emphasized that he and Rodrigo prefer to keep their relationship private. “Olivia and I choose or have chosen not to be so public,” he explained.
“It is clear that it was a pretty big summer for her with Glastonbury, but there is a holiness to be private.”
He expressed his confidence in their relationship and said, “I have no doubt that we both have a relationship for the right reason.” He believes that sharing experiences together helps them to navigate the challenges of fame.
“It’s nice to know that we can go to things together, and it’s not the craziest thing in the world that you are facing who knows what. You have a friend at the time.”
Like both celebrities, Partridge and Rodrigo understand the pressure of fame. Partridge thinks this shared experience helps them keep things in perspective.
“I think so, yes, not to blow it out of proportion or don’t have to explain it or let anyone understand,” he said.
Partridge and Rodrigo began to date in the autumn of 2023 and made their red carpet debut at the 2024 Venice film festival.
